
Agreement

Chef Andrea's Commitment: I promise to ensure that all foods are handled and stored appropriately and with great care. I will always respect the privacy in your home and property, and provide confidentiality between the chef (myself), and client. I will arrive at your home/facility on the designated date to prepare your meals, and upon completion all meals will be packaged and labeled with any food handling instructions as needed. I am fully committed to leaving your kitchen clean and sanitized when I finish cooking. In the event that anything may cause a change to my schedule and affect you, the client, I will provide advance notice.

I prepare nutrient-dense, and flavorful vegan and vegetarian dishes. Under no circumstances will I cook with any meat products, and by accepting the menu and my offer to provide this service you are entering an agreement between Cocina Flora and yourself, in order that I provide the meals as indicated on the menu in exchange for your payment.
Prepared Food Safety Recommendations: I am ServSafe/Food Manager certified. However, once prepared meals are turned over to the client, it is your responsibility to properly handle and maintain food. Cocina Flora does not assume any responsibility for problems that may occur with the client(s) refrigerator/ freezer, or due to improper handling or storage of food. Cocina Flora does not assume any responsibility for any illness or death due to manufacturing defects or recalled products. Cocina Flora will inspect all groceries purchased and prepared by Chef Andrea, but is not and does not assume any responsibility for food conditions unknown or unforeseen. If it is discovered that a product is contaminated or has been recalled, Chef Andrea will attempt to promptly contact you and advise you to avoid the item.
Payment: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with Cocina Flora, and the full payment balance is due no later than the last day of the agreed upon service date. For continued appointments, I will email you prior to our session and payment is due via PayPal, debit, or credit card. If payment is not received on time, no service will be provided until payment is received. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a penalty of 100% of the quoted price.
Note: I am a private chef with education in hospitality, gastronomy, training in herbal medicine and nutritional science, but I am not a medical doctor nor a certified nutritionist. As a chef, I do not provide medical advice. You are advised to seek the advice of your doctor or other health care provider if you have any medical questions.
